| Kerr sterling belt in Victorian style with cherubs, c.1890. The buckle is a bouquet and lattice design measuring 3" by 2 3/4" and clips on to the last link. There are 17 links each measuring 1 3/8" by 1 1/4". The design is a smaller version of the buckle except that on EACH of the four corners there is a cherub's head(hence 68). The length of the belt is 30 3/4" and is signed "STERLING #2 KERR mark(hatchet w/x's)". The back of the buckle was repaired with silver solder which shows very minimally on the front. Hard to find Kerr belts and this is an unusual design.....$16 for insured USA shipping plus applicable NY tax. | |||||||||
