| Unique, hand made sterling and clear pale yellow amber OR citrine ring by modernist H. Fred Skaggs, Colorado, c.1960's. Completely original design, ring has large irregularly shaped fascinating stone with much inclusion. I think it is amber, but there is a possibility it is a citrine. There is a small "bite" out of the stone(see photo #4) which does not affect the beauty of the ring because of the internal inclusions. The sterling has a wonderful texture(see photo #1), that I've not seen before, so ring has a combination of textured and shiny silver. Ring is signed "FRED SKAGGS HAND MADE STERLING" and is in excellent condition, except for the "bite". Ring is large and generous and the front measures 13/16" wide by 1" wide and rises 3/16".
