EXTREMELY RARE OFFERING: Art Smith hand made 14k and bloodstone modernist design ring, c.1950's. This asymmetrical design highlights a center set bloodstone with 4 spokes joining it to the irregular outer soft rectangle. Architectural modernist sterling horse head earrings by Paul Lobel(1899-1983), c.1950's. These earrings show a stylized horse head with applied silver wire forming a dimensional profile. The silver is cut unevenly to show the mouth and each measures 1" wide by 3/4" long. In excellent condition, each are signed "LOBEL STERLING". One of the best figural modernist designs ever executed. Very interesting and gutsy sterling handmade pin by the famous modernist, Sam Kramer(1913-1964), c.1950. Unique and dimensional, it has an applied silver design atop a round disk. Modernist handmade necklace signed "SAM W. GRAVES STERLING", c.1950's. It combines an art deco and Native American feel in an interesting geometric chevron design. Interesting combination of Edwardian design of sapphires with rose diamonds in a 14k white filigree gold ring setting, c.1915. Rose diamonds are not usually found during this period, but are used here in this lovely ring. The are 3 hand set dark blue sapphires (1.4 carats) and 40 small rose diamonds(approx. .70 carats).
