Alligator wallet with decorative period art nouveau sterling. The clasp is a glorious Japanese warrior and there is decorative sterling at either end. The wallet has several compartments. Unfortunately, there is damage on the inside and where the clasp pulls away which shows only a bit on the front. It is signed on each of the three silver parts "STERLING'. Two-piece sterling buckle with woman's head & hair made by UNGER BROTHERS, Newark, c.1905. Each piece measures approx. 1 1/2" wide by 1 3/8" high and the total width is 2 7/8". Rare and large sterling art nouveau woman-reading-book "Letter Clip" by Unger Brothers, 1904. One of the most beautiful and rare designs and function, this lush piece measures a generous 2 3/4" by 2 1/4". It is signed "UB STERLING 925 FINE" and is in PERFECT condition.
