Beautiful 14k gold and diamond tree brooch, c.1960's. This piece has a lovely modernist/art nouveau design showing a tree blowing in the wind and is set with 7 small diamonds in the branches. It was made using the lost wax process and has a very bright gold color. Tested for at least 14k, but is not marked. Made of heavy gauge gold, and weighs 20 grams. It is large, measuring 3 1/2" long. RARE:Incredible very large 14k, extremely heavy(4 troy oz.) lost wax and exquisite pendant showing the mask of a man, made by goldsmith Eric de Kolb, c. 1960's. Eric de Kolb had a shop on Madison Ave., NYC and sold exclusively at Bloomingdale's as well. He worked in 14k with a 24- carat overlay. This piece, of 14k yellow gold with white gold eyes, has hair and beard of granulated gold and is signed "Eric de Kolb 14K" and is in excellent condition. Wonderful European 18K (signed"750") modernist hand made gold ring, c. 1960's. Very architectural and minimalist in design it was probably made in Germany. Made of very heavy gauge gold, it weighs 17.7 grams, is size 6, and is in excellent condition. The trapezoid shape measures one inch in both height and width.
