Wonderful 14k gold ring constructed around a 19th century shell cameo by ED WIENER, NYC, c.1960. Made of very heavy gauge gold(weighs 10dwt=1/2 troy oz.), it is size 7. Ed Wiener would take a special cameo, stone, enamel piece, etc and build a ring or brooch around it. The beautiful textured gold work sets off the inset cameo. Dark oxydized gold also sets off the separate bezzle around the cameo. The front of the ring measures 15/16" wide by 3/4" high and the band varies from 1/2" ...click for details

Early famous hand made 14K and ebony modernist screwback earrings by Ed Wiener, NYC, 1955. They measure 1 1/4" long(not including screwback) by 3/4" wide and are unsigned.
