Very rare sterling ring by the famous NYC modernist Art Smith(1917-1982), c.1950's. The surrealist design has an applied silver angel wing on a postage stamp. This tri layered ring is signed "ART SMITH(in script)" and is in excellent condition. The ring is size 8 1/4 and the rounded front measures 13/16" by 9/16". Great piece by a master. Three 14k gold charms, including a moveable pair of scissors, c.1950's. The other two are "To My Flower Girl"(and is dated) and a heart(with initials). Bold, large, modernist 14k ring with rose quartz stone, Denmark, c.1960's. Great architectural Scandinavian design using a rough-cut stone bezel set in smooth shiny gold makes for this great ring. It measures 1 7/16" from bottom to top and is size 7. The front measures 1" and sits 3/4" above the finger and the band is an integral part of the design of the ring. Sterling modernist ring by silversmith Bill Tendler(1924-1981), NYC, c.1955. Bold architectural design using shiny silver columns set out from an oxydized background. The ring face measures 3/4" wide by 3/8" high and is size 4 3/4. The band has an interesting shape and is an integral part of the design. Sterling bangle by California silversmith, Allan Adler, c.1960's. Handmade and of heavy gauge silver, it measures 2 3/8" diameter and is 3/4" wide. This very substantial piece has a decorative braiding on each side of the sheet silver. It is signed "ALLAN ADLER STERLING" and is in excellent condition. Large handmade mixed metals(gold and silver) modernist pin with blue oval chalcedony(1 1/4" by 7/8"), c.1960's. The stone is bezel set off center. The design consists of positive and negative space, as shown with applied dimensional gold and silver geometric pieces versus handcut holes.
