Very decorative 14k Victorian hinged bracelet, c.1880. Unmarked but tests 14k and there is a 24 carat rose gold overlay. Beautiful applied Etruscan design sits atop the bracelet. Wonderful pin measures 3 3/8" long by 2 1/8" wide and is signed "RD 960". Early LOS CASTILLO("#1" design) modernist mixed metal and obsidian bracelet, Mexico, c.1940. Beautifully constructed, there are two curved brass arms that connect to a circular piece of obsidian that turns freely. The brass arms are attached to the sterling locking ends. Wonderfully designed hand made necklace by MAYA, Mexico, c.1950's after a Hubert Harmon design. Maya frequently copied Harmon designs. Looks just like silver with a great patina, but probably made of silver plate because there are no Mexican silver marks. The locking mechanism is separated from the main part by black velvet ribbon.
